Who We Are
Shalom Day Care and Nursery School is a community-oriented early childhood education institution located in Iringa Municipality, Tanzania. For over 7 years, we have provided safe, affordable, and quality daycare and pre-primary education services for children aged 6 months – 6 years, helping them build a strong foundation for formal primary education.
The school uses learner-centred and play-based teaching approaches to support children's growth in literacy, numeracy, communication, creativity, social skills and return the kids foundation to God. We are committed to creating a caring and supportive learning environment while continuously improving our facilities, teaching resources, and staff to ensure quality education for every child.

The heart and vision behind SHALOM Day Care
As a mother of two, I was raised up by the church. So, I see the need to return the gratitude to the community. This inspired me to establish a daycare center to raise the kids in a manner of knowing God and also getting a good home, especially when the parents are at work during daytime. Giving them a comfortable environment to grow up and nurturing their potentials.
What began as a small home-based daycare caring for 2 children has flourished into a trusted center serving over 80 families. My team and I are dedicated to nurturing each child's unique gifts and partnering with parents to build strong foundations for lifelong success.
